Several =/= All

*sigh* I haven't managed to get a single promotional minipet yet lol

AND I missed the game convention thing that happened in Bristol a while back because there was no info for it would've gone to that lol

So then, this one guy somehow got the magazine way early? or what did he do? Were there others by this time that have gotten the mini-pet?

This was discussed with Martin kerstein on his live show and Q&A att he GW:EN release party on The Sanitarium and he mentioned this to us there...

In a nutshell, all the marketting department can do is offer this promotion to the magazines in said country, if that magaizne doesn't want to do it, its the magazine thats boning you, not NCSoft/ANet

Well I'm guessing that in the next couple of months or so, PC Zone UK will do the same thing, just guessing though seeing that they're the one that gave away the giant and the azura.

Then again GW doesnt seem to be that big for both PC Zone & PC Gamer here in the UK, they prefer that other bigger game. The only magazine so far that put GW above the other is PC Format, but they're more of a hardware rather than software magazine.

Yeah I know, I made the 1000 mini pet thread last week. That why I said "next couple of months" y'know toward X-mas holiday.

Australia and New Zealand are countries? I must have been mistaken, because based on Anet's view, we don't exist.

Hurry up and do something for Australasians, we've been shafted for FAR too long, including having to pay heaps more for games, AND the screw ups with release dates.

And again i repeat myself...

Martin kerstein recently stated that the offer was given to all countries major magazines, if those magazines don't want to take up the offer, why is this NCSoft's fault?

Ok, so NCSoft should open an NCSoft Pan Asia side just for you?

and why should NCSoft be blamed for the current state of currency conversation and different countries Tax?

If you want to act like a moron, go elsewhere and do it.

b.r - I was acting like a prick, there's a difference.

I'll repost what I said but a bit nicer. Some people here are a bit too easily offended

How is that ANet's fault?

The UK issue of the pet give away is next month. You get a normal DVD case attached to the front and it will either have the standard bonus CD in it, or a mini-pet card, hich I'm guessing will have the CD-Key attached.

Well, I hope that this will be like the Asura offer and we will get a magazine with it here in Australia. Last time, it was announced much later that PC Powerplay would have the Asura mini, so there's still some chance that we'll get it... maybe. I can still hope, can't I?

Well, otherwise, I may have to just go to a newsagent and ask them if they can order the magazine from the US. Might see if I can get my hands on one of the European offer magazines too. It really all depends on whether I can be bothered.

THIRDED!

The americans will be able to get rich as hell selling those Destroyers to europeans... This is seriously screwed up business.

And when precisely will we British folks be able to get a special promotional pet (to sell back to the americans)?
Bugger.... I never buy magazines, but I might actually be convinced to start now....
.... unless I can just sneakily nab the card off the front of one... >_>

How many Destroyers are there? Please someone post some numbers or something as I would love to know.

People should stop QQ about their country not getting promotions. There are like hundreds of other countries which didnt get pets too...

As many as the copies of the PC Gamer: Guild Wars Editions, that were printed. Could be in thousand like the Giant and the Azura.

In the Benelux, it's PCGameplay that prefers GW over WoW. They did the Grey/Gray Giant promo, 2-3 months after all the other European mags had done it.
They didn't do the Asura offer, so I had to buy one off another player.
Now they're doing the 1000 minipet thing too, which I did not know appeared in other magazines as well until I read this thread.

Are the 1000 minipets being given away mutual, or are there 1000 pets per magazine?

If it's the latter, I'd like to see the stupid promotional team fired.
Even if it's the magazine who takes up the offer, it's the promotion that has been offered an sich that is to blame for all this QQ'ing (I know, I'm not an exception).

It's as if there's 2 families with equal resources. One family offers their children cake whenever they want to have it, the other offers theirs 2 loafs of old bread, which can only be won by a lottery. 'We' don't want any more shitty bread (which isn't even guaranteed), 'we' want the cake at will. ('We' being the non-Asian, non-US GW Community)

The mag officially hits shelves on September 25th, so if you're seeing it in a store, it's early.
Nice, here at 5:20am I was about to go to the grocery store @ 6am and see if they had it.

Now I don't need to. (yet)
